Fathom Nickel (CSE: FNI) this morning released the results of a small two hole drill program conducted at the firms Gochager Lake project in northern Saskatchewan. While small in size, the program managed to produce notable results.
Highlights from the results include:
- GL23003: 1.49% nickel, 0.38% copper, 0.11% cobalt, 0.07 g/t 3PE over 58.2 metres
- GL23003: 1.16% nickel, 0.19% copper, 0.07% cobalt, 28.23 g/ 3PE over 0.7 metres
- GL23004: 1.38% nickel, 0.43% copper, 0.11% cobalt, 0.27 g/t 3PE over 2.4 metres
With the small program complete, Fathom Nickel has indicated it intends to conducted further BHEM surveys, on top of five such surveys conducted this year. Planned BHEM surveys include the two holes reported this morning as the firm looks to better understand the geometry of the mineralization.
Surface mapping, prospecting, and geochemistry are also planned, which will lead to a drill program slated to occur in the third or fourth quarter.
“The impressive nickel-cobalt values and, importantly, their consistency over broad intersections, has us very excited and extremely pleased with the results of the two-hole program completed in February. Simply put, this program has been a tremendous success,” commented CEO Ian Fraser.
Fathom Nickel last traded at $0.18 on the CSE.
