Positive assay results continue to come in for Surge Battery Metals (TSXV: NILI), who this morning reported results for hole NN2305 at its Nevada North Lithium Project.

Highlights from the results include:

  • NN2305:
    • 19.1 metres of 3,437 ppm lithium from 0.0 metres, including 15.2 metres of 3,926 ppm lithium
    • 15.2 metres of 3,226 ppm lithium from 28.2 metres
    • 9.9 metres of 2,081 ppm lithium from 53.3 metres
    • 9.9 metres of 2,747 ppm lithium from 66.3 metres

Hole NN2305 is a 150 metre stepout hole to the south of NN2201. Collectively, the results are said to average out to 54.1 metres of 3,003 ppm lithium, while confirming high-grade lithium clay exists at surface.

“We are very pleased with NN2305 results which has delivered at-surface results of almost 4,000ppm Li. NNLP continues to produce high-grade lithium intercepts near-surface which should result in favourable mining conditions in future economic studies,” commented Greg Reimer, CEO.

The results follow the company intersecting 29.8 metres of 3,841 ppm lithium from 21.3 metres in hole NN2304.

Surge Battery Metals last traded at $0.63 on the TSX Venture.
