Evoke Electric Motorcycles launches 6061-GT in N America

China-based Evoke Electric Motorcycles has launched its all-new grand tourer (GT) electric motorcycle in North America. The new Evoke Motorcycles 6061-GT is the longest-range electric motorcycle on the market, with more than 600+ km (370 miles) on a single charge.

The name is derived from Evoke Motorcycles’ aerospace Twin-plate Exo frame made of 6061 aluminum; the 6061-GT symbolizes precision, strength and endurance in motion.

The 6161-GT is powered by an electric motor that produces more than 120 horsepower (90 kW) and 152 lb-ft of torque (206 N·m). This gives the motorcycle the ability to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and reach a top speed of more than 140 mph (230 km/h).

All new for 2024:

• Brand new updated exterior fairings, elaborating and enhancing the low sleek lines of the performance cruiser while maintaining an aggressive edge, setting it apart from anything on the road.

• A super high density axial flux motor, reducing motor weight by 41% and increasing motor RPM by 50%.

• An increase in rear tire width, upgrading from a 17 x 6.0″ to an 18 x 8.5″ rim, hand assembled multi-spoke tubeless design, while stepping up to a 250/40ZR18 rear tire.

The 6061-GT also comes with a number of other advanced features, including:

• A high density, high voltage lithium-ion battery pack that provides up to 600 km on a single charge. With 30 kWh onboard the vehicle, the 6061-GT comes with one of the largest motorcycle battery packs in production today.

• A fast-charging system that can charge the battery to 80% in just 30 minutes.

• A 3-way adjustable suspension that provides a smooth and stable ride, paired with a deep groove seat to provide comfort on the long open road.

The all new 2024 Evoke Motorcycles 6061-GT is available to order now for North America (US and Canada) and deliveries will begin shipping April 2024. European orders will begin early 2024 for select regions.
