ATHA Energy (CSE: SASK), a uranium explorer with the largest land package in the Athabasca region of Saskatchewan, recently had CEO Troy Boisjoli sit down with The Deep Dive’s Small Cap Steve to discuss a recently announced merger that will see three uranium explorers come together to create a leading uranium exploration company.

The transaction, which will see ATHA acquire Latitude Uranium and 92 Energy, grows ATHA’s land claims to over 7.0 million acres, while its balance sheet is expected to boast a cash position of over $60 million. ATHA’s presence will also expand to the Thelon Basin in Nunavut, where it will now have the largest land holdings of any explorer, as well as to the Central Mineral Belt of Labrador, and add historical resources to its portfolio.
